Promoting the role of patients and the patient voice in all areas of health care.
MUHC The Patients' Committee
What are the users’ committee and the in-patients’ committee?
The members of the users’ committee and the in-patients’ committee are the guardians of users rights. These committees must ensure that users are treated with respect and in recognition of their rights and freedoms. They are an important voice for users to communicate with the MUHC.
Respect for the rights of users, the quality of the services and satisfaction of the patients are the foundations which guide their actions. They must have a particular concern towards the most vulnerable patients and work to promote improved living conditions for in-patients.
