Promoting the role of patients and the patient voice in all areas of health care.
Canadian Association for People-Centred Health (CAPCH)
The CAPCH is founded on the belief that the Canadian Health System should inform, empower and support each person as the manager of their well-being and that all Canadians should have access to a defined, publicly-funded level of care and service. Our philosophy is that our health system should be “people-centred” rather than driven by political goals, professionaland special interest groups, or social ideologies. The CAPCH advocates more involvement by the average Canadian in their healthcare, so that we will all become the strategic architects of our own system – “a people-centred” health system.
