If we could only make one change to Canadian Health Care, I hope that it will be to shift to a patient-centric focus. Only then will people experience the empowerment of informed choice and feel respected. It is my belief that if the Patients’ Association of Canada is successful in pushing towards that new paradigm, we will achieve improved Health outcomes for our population.
Si seulement on pouvait faire un changement aux soins de santé canadiens, j'espère que ce sera de passer à un foyer centré sur le patient. C'est alors seulement que les gens l'expérience de l'autonomisation des choix informés et se sentent respectés. C'est ma conviction que si l’Association des Patients du Canada a réussi à pousser vers ce nouveau paradigme, nous parviendrons à améliorer la santé de notre population.
